Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy outlines how payments, cancellations, and refunds are handled for services offered by CommitPad, ensuring transparency and clarity in all client engagements.

Effective Date: 25th April 2026

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to services provided by CommitPad, operated by Sojatia Infocrafts Private Limited ("Company", "we", "our", or "us").

1. General Policy

Due to the nature of software development and digital services, all payments made are generally non-refundable unless otherwise stated in a written agreement.

2. Project-Based Services

  • Payments made for completed milestones are non-refundable.
  • If a project is terminated by the client, work completed up to that point will be billed and remaining funds (if any) may be refunded at our discretion.
  • No refunds will be issued for work already delivered or approved.

3. Advance Payments

Advance payments secure project scheduling and resource allocation. These are non-refundable once work has commenced.

4. Subscription & Ongoing Services

  • Monthly or recurring services (e.g., maintenance, DevOps, support) are billed in advance.
  • Clients may cancel future billing cycles with prior notice, but no partial refunds are issued for ongoing periods.

5. Cancellation by Client

Clients may request project cancellation at any time. However:

  • All completed work must be paid for
  • Any pending invoices must be cleared
  • Deliverables will be provided only upon settlement

6. Cancellation by Company

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services in cases of:

  • Non-payment
  • Breach of agreement
  • Misuse of services

7. Exceptional Cases

Refunds may be considered in rare cases where:

  • We are unable to deliver the agreed service
  • There is a clear failure to meet contractual obligations
